Brief Answer:
avoid honey, take vitamin D supplement

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
Vitamin D levels are desperately low in Asian population due to recent indoors type of life style.
The vitamin D is synthesized in the skin by effect of sun light exposure. One should have at least half an hour daily sun exposure to keep up this vitamin.
Vitamin D deficiency does not cause raised sugar levels or gastric ulcers.
These are different problems and should be managed under care of a local physician.
You should avoid honey because it contains very high amount of sugar that will be bad for your already poor sugar control.
I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you.
