Suggest Treatment For Wart Like Spot On Vagina And Yeast Infection

default
Posted on Tue, 18 Aug 2015
Question: Yes I am a 34 year old female who went to see a gyn last Monday about a yeast infection who stated she believed she saw a small vaginal wart but she couldn't be sure without a biopsy which she didn't want to do. She said just to watch it. On Tuesday I went to my normal gyn who did a visual examination and stated she saw nothing that was suspicious for being a wart and that I was fine and not worry that I simply just had a yeast infection. Without still not knowing who to believe I went home and started doing vaginal examination on the outside and inside to the best of my ability daily. I have also done the vinegar test (where you soak a cotton ball with white vinegar and let it sit for 5 minutes and see if the bump turns white) at least twice daily with nothing ever turning white. However this morning upon visual examination I've notice the skin around the test area is now discolored to a whitish color and is very sensitive and irritated.( and yes I have bathed several times since the vinegar test yesterday) could this whitish discoloration be the result of a chemical burn or warts? Please advise as I am very lost and confused.

Brief Answer:
Can you upload pics please ?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
I really do not understand one thing - if the first GYN was not sure whether it was a wart or not, why did she not do the biopsy straight away , instead of leaving you so confused and anxious.
ANd yes, it is possible that you might have overdone the vinegar test and hence the sensitivity and irritation.
Plus the yeast infection which the second GYN said you have, can have also led to the discoloration and the sensitivity.
PLease take some photographs of the area, as many and as clear as you can, and send them across ( upload them on this thread ).
I will try and opine to the best of my ability.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
ANd relax, either ways, it is not a major life threatening issue.
Please relax.
Take care.

I tried taking two photos but it's very difficult since they are at the opening. I am hoping you got them. The first gyn just said it was no big deal but couldn't or should I say wouldn't verify they were warts. I'm so confused and have been dating a new guy for about 3 months and would hate to pass this on to him although the first gyn in was like if he gets a wart he gets a wart not big deal. Any advice you could give would be most helpful thank you so much!

Brief Answer:
Pics are not clear.

Detailed Answer:
The photos are not clear at all.
Can you ask your boyfriend to help you.
You could separate the labia and he could take the pics.
Apart from looking at the pics, I hope you can understand there is no way actually that i can tell you about the wart , or no wart .
Hope you understand.
And I received 6 attachments, all of them copies of just one picture.

I'm so sorry but my boyfriend is not here however my gyn is seeing me at 310. So let's hope that will help. If she says again there is no warts should I take that as final and rest assured?

I just wanted to thank you for your time today. My GYN did confirm for the second time today that I do NOT have genital warts. Please know your effort and help in the was greatly appreciated...what you do matters! Again I thank you!

Brief Answer:
Good to know that.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Am glad to hear what your GYN said.
In case any doubt lingers in your mind, you can always take more pics with the help of your partner and send them across.
From what I could see however, I too could not see any sign of warts.
Use protection however, if you can.
ANd thank you so much for your appreciation, that matters a lot to me.
I would be glad to be of help in the future, here is the link again =
