Suggest Treatment For Weakness And Tremors In Leg When Suffering From Sciatica
You require a MRI to start with
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I understand your problem and since it is weakness more than pain, one should not ignore it. It is probably a disc prolapse but there are other possibilities also. The best way to visualize the lesion producing this weakness is to have a MRI done of the lumbosacral spine. Once we know what is causing your problem, the decision regarding the type of treatment can be made. In most cases it can be managed through medicines, life style changes and physiotherapy. An open surgery not required in most cases these days. Even if a surgery is indicated, these days there are minimally invasive surgeries.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thank you.
I am not very familiar with the XXXXXXX system of medical care.
If it is possible to have MRI done without seeing a doctor, you may not require to see one if there are constraints regarding appointments, money etc. If it is necessary to see a doctor to get insurance coverage, then a spine surgeon is the best. It can be an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon. Please ask around to find out who is the best. I am sorry I do not know anyone and therefore am not able to guide you.
If I were you, I would consult an XXXXXXX doctor trained in a good institution.
I would be interested in your progress. You can get my details on a web search and email me.

Spine extension exercises when pain free
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
You should use a firm bed like an orthopedic or medical bed and lie on your back. Avoid bending or lifting weights. If you need to pick up something from the floor, you should not bend your back but sit down (squat) with a straight back and pick it up. If you have facility to do a home traction, it may be tried.
Do not do any exercise when you have pain as rest is the dictum for any painful condition. Once you are pain free you can do spine extension exercises. Never do spine flexion exercises as it presses the nerve further.
Hope I have answered your query.
Hope you get well soon.
Regards,
Dr. Noble
