Suggest Treatment For Weakness In Body When Fasting Blood Sugar Is 150

Question: sir , i am diabetics patient age 36 yrs weight 90 kg...result fasting 150 and randomly 200...i cant take any medicine for the sugar last three yrs except some aurvedic juice like XXXXXXX or jamun..but now i feel weakness in my body..only one question can i XXXXXXX or not..bcs my prnts force me to mrg..and pls suggest some medicine for my wakness

Hi Mr XXXX

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

Please do the following tests - Fasting blood glucose, 2 hr after food blood glucose, HbA1c and renal function tests.

You need to be started on medications for diabetes before it is too late. The ideal starting medication is Metformin started as 500 mg once daily, increased to twice daily after 2 weeks. Your tiredness will come down once sugars are controlled.

Diabetes is a common disease and it won't prevent you from getting married. Your health status and functions will be like any other man of your age if diabetes is controlled.
