I am 40 yr old. In my life perid i feel i have not much pulled my foreskin and cleaned my penis. Even though i am educated i was nit taught. Can this cause a penis cancer. I have a white discoloration alone now. Even after sex i have not much cleaned inside. Pls help me.

Washing the inside of foreskin is a healthy practice and prevents infections of the foreskin. But not washing it every time you have sex does not put you in to any serious risk of sexual infection.
It is said that people with circumsicion (removal of foreskin) are less prone to developing HPV infection but this conclusion is not always true.
HPV infection is responsible for about half the penis cancer cases as per medical literature.
HPV infection is common in people who have multiple sex partners and uncommon in those who have one sexual partner.
I understand that in a previous query you have mentioned about applying dettol on the penis. This can be the cause of skin irritation and the white discolouration.

Thanks for your reply. I applied detol only i got discoloration. The Dr asked me to use betatidine but i used detol. I met a uro onco and he said its not cancer. Even though he said it not my mind is not satisfied as i have burning sensation. I take doxycyclene 100 now and i do not apply any oinment and i feel better after satrting antibiotic. The uro said no need of any thing its very normal. If req meet a skin specialist. Can stress make loss of appetite and i have loosed roughly 6 kg in last 3 months.

I have my burning sensation only when there is a moment in my foreskin and in fear i took a blood report i have attached that also. I dint have my burning ystd and today i have to check. Pls help me as your brother to come out of it. Some minor prob is there where we are not able to figuer it out. All of you say this discooration wont give burning then why do u have burning. Infeel tiered also. Attched my latest report .

The penis has sensitive skin on surface called mucosa. It is easily irritated due to applying chemicals like dettol. Once the mucosa is disrupted then the cells on the area will shed off. After that the new mucosa will form and this takes time of about 2 to 4 weeks and therefore you are in this phase and having some burning.

Thanks for reply can i apply some oinment. I stopped all oinment. I feel sime thing wrong big so only its burning. I have this burning for past one month. Is there any thing wtong. Discoloration was before i applied the detol. Buring was mild and now bad. Is it a growth or discoloration .

I am able to move it. Before i have not seen noticable. Its not sticking too much while moving its not paining all. If i dont move it its not burning. I am able to move it .

I have burning only if i move my foreskin and frequently and when i masterbate. Can apply some petrolium jelly over it plain or cacelibe. Only if the colour of skin changes the burning will resolve. As due to this prob my mind goes to cance and also not fealing hungry .

U say without lump cancer wiil not come. But it some link says first symptom is colour change and can also come without lump or ulser. So i feel its only cancer. I feel some discomfort in that area now .
First discoloration only happened after applying oinmenr. Then only i applied detool u can see in this photo mild patch this patch only has got doscoloured. I can see clear. I applied the ounment afler this patch. This is what first happen. One month over. 2 nd day of application of ounment the discoloration happen and then only i applied detoll. Can u see a mild patch in the photo. Pls reply soon. Waiting for your reply .
