Brief Answer:
Abrupt cessation can cause withdrawal symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing through HCM.

I have read your query and understood your concerns.

Bupropion can cause withdrawal symptoms. The symptoms can be anxiety, irritability, decrease sleep, nausea, nightmares, generalized body aches and pains, headache, depersonalization feelings, crying spells, depressive mood, fatigue etc.

You have not mentioned the symptoms you have experienced but it can be because of the sudden stoppage of the drug.

You can start the drugs again from 150 mg in the morning and visit your psychiatrist for further information and evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have further query then I will be happy to help.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr Ravi Soni

Could me not taking my Wellbutrin, Adderall and Synthroid for 3 days in a row have contributed to or increased me acting paranoid, aggressive, aggravated, agitated, irrational, irritated and hostile? I did no physical harm to anyone but acted strangely, made horrible comments and send horrible text messages... Please let me know ASAP... Thank you...

Brief Answer:
Yeah it can be possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

Both wellbutrin and adderall increase the level of dopamine in the brain. It acts on the pleasure centre of the brain and increases the concentration. Abrupt stoppage after taking these drugs for long time can result in the irritability, rebound psychosis, aggression etc.

If you do not have any history of these kind of symptoms in the past then it is mostly because of the withdrawal from these drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. If you do not have further clarification then close the discussion and rate the answer.

Wish you good health.

Regards
Dr Ravi Soni
