Suggest Treatment For Yeast Infection And Phimosis While Having Diabetes
Question: I have been told I have type 2 diabetes. I am 55, weigh 308 lbs, but three years ago I was over 400lbs. Since I started losing weight I have had a tough problem with phimosis caused by loose skin in the public area, sexual function, and what I think is a recurring yeast infection or skin reaction to urine leakage. I think these things are all interrelated. I am starting to take GLIMEPIRIDE 4mg daily. Any advice on how I can end the phimosis and yeast infections? Very painful.
Brief Answer:
The only way to control yeast infection is by controlling Diabetes.

Hi welcome to Health care magic,
The only way to control yeast infection is by controlling Diabetes. Are you monitoring Blood sugar regularly?
Use a multi fungal cream locally. If this does not work then a good tablet like Fluconazole 150 once a week for 8 weeks maybe required. Drink cleaner water and exercise regularly.
If Phimosis is due to the infection, it will also improve, otherwise a consultation with a surgeon is required.

How do I get Fluconozole 150? I have tried Cortizone 10 and Lotrimin Ultra for months now.
I do not have a healthcare physician and do not have insurance. So if these meds require a prescription, how do I get them?
