Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. At young sexually active age recurrence of such genital tract infection is very high and likely. Virus does not present this way but still there is no harm in getting evaluated.
Get your discharge analyzed and cultured and we will find the cause and organism behind this. A few endocervical swabs will do the trick. Coital and toilet habits modification and hygiene maintenance with hair free groin, loose cotton undergarments, abstinence from sex for a while, minimal genital manipulation and avoiding douching is mandatory.
Apply some topical hypoallergenic hygiene gels for the relief and keep using it on daily basis.
Sometimes a mere change in mucus thickening due to hormonal surges in a cycle is mislabelled as vaginal discharge and should be considered.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Thank you for getting back to me
There are more than 20 possibilities in sexually active women for this rash and only detailed assessment will help sort it out. Most of the time some yeast infection is followed by rash which is persistent and fades away slowly provided there is no recurrence to the infection which is not in your case. Once the underlying infection is sorted out and treated rash will poof away on its own. Get tested and get evaluated.
Dont worry about the rash. That will fade away with complete treatment of the organism causing it.
I hope it helps.
