Brief Answer:
Dont worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Exchange transfusion is done if the jaundice is very high. But if the baby is discharged and is otherwise fine, don't worry , there shouldn't be a problem.
Continue medicines as advised.
But you need to follow-up the baby for neurological development every month to see if the jaundice had affected the brain.
But I sincerely hope that he should become well in a few days.

Thank you so much for your advice, what will be problem if the jaundice had affected the brain before? is there anything that we need to very cautious about?
i missed to inform one more thing that baby is having 3mm hole in heart, it really feels so sad for me how many things that kiddo need to suffer at this early age.
Brief Answer:
Difficult to predict
Detailed Answer:
It's difficult to predict the neurological outcome .
Only time and followup will pickup abnormalities.
If found early appropriate stimulation and treatment can help a lot.
But there may not be any damage too.
Only neurological followups would tell.
Just make sure you followup regularly.
Get all vaccinations done.
For the heart , 3mm is very small. Should close , get an echo in 6 months time.
