Suggest Treatment To Cure Boils On Face
Question: I have two boils on my face. They did seep out some pus but now they are hard red lumps.
I'm taking Cephalexin for three days but haven't seen much improvement at all. I also have Mupirocin but I don't think it's getting into the lumps.
Should I be trying to get these red lumps to turn white and come to a head? Should I be applying benzoyl peroxide to them? Is the Cephalexin enough on it's own

Hope that you are taking a 7 day course of this tablet.Please try giving wet hot compress on those boils,it will help it soften the boil.Keep applying mupirocin and benzoyl peroxide to it.It will be fine withn few days.

I would suggest you to use antibacterial soap or face wash atleast once a day. Use antibacterial handwash after cleaning your nose cavities, that is because boil causing bacteria is right inside it. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water, it flushes lots of bacteria's out of body. Yes, you can use alcohol aftershave when you have no boils on your face.
