Before, joining this research, I would take Norco 5mg at the most a couple times a day, when I had pain from my surgeon. In the program they gave me the first week a 10mg of a drug I had to take twice a day 12 hours apart..Then it was up to 20mg, then 30, which I took for one day next day, Had a withdrawals, they took me off said that I could go back to my Norco, will no problems..In fact, gave me prescription for 10mgs. I started having withdrawals Friday morning, so I'm scared took only 1/2 pill, then waited 6 hours for another 1/2.. Trying to stay with this, but the withdrawals are getting worstb

Brief Answer: You need to go to the emergency room. Detailed Answer: Hello. Thanks for posting your query. I am sorry to learn about your problems after participating in the clinical research. I have carefully studied what you have shared here, but I could not find what medicine was given to you in the clinical research program, I suppose they did not tell you either. Without knowing the name of the medicine I have no way of giving you any useful information. What you are experiencing looks like an adverse reaction to the particular drug that was given to you in the research study, it is best if you go to an ER as early possible. The doctors will contact the research doctors and will find out the exact medicine that you were given and will treat you accordingly. And the research doctors who included you into the study have a responsibility to provide for all the medical expenses that arise as a result of the clinical research, so please go ahead and get yourself treated in a hospital and give the ER all the details about the clinical research you participated in. I hope this will help you. Regards

Brief Answer: You are required to report serious adverse effects Detailed Answer: Hello, I understand that ER doctors may not do much if you can't tell them the details of the medicine, but if you tell them that you participated in a clinical research, they will contact the research doctors and will find out what medicine was given to you, based on that they will be able to treat your withdrawal symptoms adequately. I am sure the research doctors gave you a document to sign, that contains the required information about the drug that was tested as well as all the contact details. Apart from this, what you are doing is okay, you may continue that for the time being, and you can contact the research doctors on Monday if you can tolerate the withdrawal symptoms. It is up to you. Hope this helps. Wishing you good health. Warm regards.
