Suggest Ways To Conceive When Suffering From Endometriodsis

Question: I'm 42 years old. I have had endometriosis since early 20's. I had my first son at age 40 by IVF. Previously I had several miscarriages. I also had another miscarriage last February. On April I had a AMH of 0.3. I 'm trying to conceive again. Today I had and ultrasound on day 12 of my cycle to check my follicules and there was just 1 on the right ovary (left ovary was partially removed while having a cystectomy due to endometriosis) that is 8 mm, uterine lining was 4 mm. Is there anything else I can do ? Do I need to just give up to the idea of having another child ?
Brief Answer:
IF YOU NEED TO CONCEIVE AGAIN, CONSIDER IVF
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
This current cycle, that you mention, is it a normal cycle, or a stimulated one ?
With an AMH of 0.3, removal of one ovary, the age of 42 and your past history, if you really want another baby, you would definitely need IVF again.
Even there , as you know, there are only percentages and probabilities , no guarantees.
I would say that you should not think of a natural conception, but if a second child is very desirable, consider IVF again.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
