I took 150 mg nortriptyline nightly for 1 year. 250 mg amitriptyline 2 years prior. I take benztropine .5 twice a day. 175 lamictal twice a day. I take 6 mg invega in the morning. ive tapered down to 25mg nortriptyline after 3 weeks.
Brief Answer:
seroquel may help
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for information and sorry for delayed response.
Nortryptiline from 150 mg to 25 mg of course leads to some kind of sleep disturbance. Apart from melatonin as such there is no specific supplement for sleep. If you want to avoid benzodiazepine (which we can say some addictive) you can try seroquel. However I recommend adding benzodiazepine like lorazepam or clonazepam in low dose and later on taper and stop.
Take care.
