Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
If you want to gain weight but don't want to raise cholesterol and blood sugar levels, you should increase your calories but mantaining a low cholesterol diet.
To do so you should eat lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid fatty animals products. While you will increase your calories you should mantain the same levels of exercise.
Moreover I would like to suggest you the following dietary regime:
- Eat 5 meals per daytime that are high in calories but low in cholesterol. Nuts, olives and slices are good choices.
- Serve whole-grain crackers or pita plain.
- Low-fat cheese and white meat are of help.
- Add omega 3 supplements and garlics to lower your cholesterol naturally.
- Try to take 500 calories plus each day while you mantain the same level of exercise and you will gain 1 pound per week.
Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
