Suggest Ways To Lose Weight
Good afternoon. Everyone is individual and your plan should be too!
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed your case and have treated many clients in similar situations. I believe I can guide you and provide you with some suggestions that perhaps you haven't tried before.
In reviewing your case I see that you have tried "almost everything" meaning I am not going to spend time reviewing portion size, calories and basic nutrition that you have in all probability learned by now. It is not your lack of nutritional knowledge that is an area of concern, but your ability to identify strategies to meet your emotional needs other than food.
First, let's look at your environment. When you go shopping make a list out ahead of time and only include a healthy variety of foods high in fiber, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, lean meats only, low-calorie "snack" foods or "emoti-foods" as I call them.
Make a list of the unmet emotional needs that drive you to fill that void with food. Then, next to that emotion, list positive ways of coping with that need that doesn't involve high calorie, unhealthy or large portions of food. There is a good book out called "Feeding the Hungry Heart" by Geneen Roth that is just great. Read it - I think it may be just what you need.
It is very easy for calories to creep up on you. Just 100 calories per day too much is 10 pounds of weight gain per year. It takes a 500 calorie per day reduction in calories to lose one pound per week. It comes off so slow, many people get de-motivated.
This is where your motivation question comes in. You say you don't CARE enough to do what it takes. What will make you care and you have found your key motivator.
One thing that I heard you say in your question about losing 80 pounds is that you are ashamed and miserable. Okay, let's work with that. You are ashamed because you need to look a way that you are picturing in your mind. Use that to your advantage. Have you heard of imagery? You can try using a progressive relaxation technique and then envision looking in a mirror and seeing YOU, what you want to look like and what you will look like after you have lost that weight.
IMAGERY! Learn it. Use it.

I can suggest some green tea to help raise your metabolism (uncaffeinated, it doesn't matter). It is good for the heart, soul, metabolism and achieving your vision of a thinner you.
Walk 30 minutes per day. There are also many "sit-fit" videos to do in the privacy of your own home all the while seeing yourself with your head held high in that nice dress several sizes smaller than you currently are.
And, finally, learn to love yourself regardless of your weight. No one is perfect. Many individuals in this world have unmet emotional needs. Give love and it will come back in return. I hope I have helped and please feel free to contact me again if I can help you further. XXXXXXX J. Shattler, MS,RDN
