Suggest Ways To Manage Difficulty In Conceiving While Treating Endometriosis
Question: Hi Doctor,
I had laproscopy for diagnosing endometriosis , after that 5 IUI's failed. And then IVF/ICSI also failed. I consulted another doctor, she suggested to take endometrial biopsy test, got to know that mycobacterium tuberculosis exists to my uterus. So, took the medication for 8 months and the course was completed. During the TB medication, i used to get my periods for every 37 days. After completing the TB medication, we thought of making pregnancy trails sincerely, but this month I didn't get my period even after 39 days. I did urine tests and it is negative. I approached doctor , she scanned and asked me to use Meprate for 10 days and wait for 7 days to get period. But my concern is that this entire process took almost 3 years and continuously i was in medication and loosing the hope of achieving natural pregnancy as am already 34 years old now. Please help me out to know the exact further steps without wasting more time on medication only. Latest AMH is 6.6

Brief Answer:
Undergo IVF once more
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I have read you query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) Good news is AMH levels are excellent.
2) Earlier IUI and IVF have failed probably due to tuberculosis.
3) Since you have good AMH levels, go ahead with another cycle of IVF soon.
4) The tubes are likely to have been damaged in tuberculosis therefore not easy to have natural pregnancy. So IVF one more time is a better option.
I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.
Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

IVF is really a painful treatment , so many injections, waiting time still with no hopes. :( Literally, am tired of taking medicines and injections, regular scans etc., Rather am okay to go for IUI option which is little less painful. During follicular study for IUI, i think docors can make out if egg release is appropriate or not? So that, we could assume tubes are fine right? if everything seems right, why won't i get a natural pregnancy?
Brief Answer:
Unexplained infertility
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Around 30 percent of the couple suffer from unexplained infertility. It means no pregnancy though everything is normal. They cannot keep trying naturally forever.
More over you had tuberculosis which is likely to have caused damage to lining of uterus as well as fallopian tubes.
In this case natural pregnancy or IUI is very difficult . IVF is best option.
