Suggest Ways To Manage Possible Constipation After A Colon Cleansing Procedure

Question: I had a colonoscopy on FEB.24, they found several small polyps and 1 of 1.5 cm, all were removed. After 35 hours I hemorhraged and was admitted in the hospital, got another colon cleansing and colonoscopy again to clip the bleeding spot. I lost a lot of blood and was released after my hemoglobin got up to 9.9. Now I am worried about not having bowel movement, what shall I take, Can I start some Miralax?

Q.1 - last bowel movement on feb.26 after colon cleaning. The clips were applied on the same day.

Q.2 - I am passing some gas

Q.3 - no

Q.4 - no bowel movement since feb.26, exept passing gas

Thanks for the additional information.

Since you are passing gas and there is no abdominal distension, there is no need to worry.
Since it is only two days since the last bowel movement, you can wait for a day or two to get a bowel movement.
You can take high fiber diet and drink enough fluids to facilitate bowel movements.

There is no harm however in taking miralax.
