Is Magnesium Citrate Good For Colon Cleansing?

Colon Cleansing. Hello, I have a very fast metabolism so I am worried about colon cleansing because I do not want to lose weight. However, I am very interested in cleansing the toxins out of my body and possibly relieving my often occurring headaches. Do you think drinking 12 ounces of Magnesium Citrate is a good idea?

Hello,

You may use magnesium citrate for bowel cleaning. But you have to consult your doctor before using magnesium citrate.

If you're any drugs then it may lead to complications. If you're having good renal or cardiac functions then only you may take this medication.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
