Suggest Ways To Postpone Periods

Question: Hi Docs,
Is there any way to prepone or postpone periods. Last time I had periods on 21 Dec now i want it will come on 16,17 XXXXXXX because I am going to meet my fiancee 22 to 24 and planning to have sex . Plz suggest best way so that it will not effect this time.

Is your periods regular? 28 day? When r u expecting your next periods?

The medicines for preponing the periods are not very reliable. It would be better to postpone the periods. You can take medroxyprogesterone 10mg bd 3 days prior to the expected periods and continue till the desired date.

Yes my period is regular. Last time I had period in 21st Dec and last for 3 days.
During period I take pain killer some time.

Now I am expecting me period on 19th 0r 20th XXXXXXX
I have a couple of concern...

1. Which is good prepone or postpone?
2. How and Which medicine is good ?
3. If I have sex on 22 or 23rd without protection then Can I take i-Pill ?

I am totally confused Plz help me out. I am meeting with him after 4 month and I want to enjoy these 2 days with him because there will b a long gap for next meet or may b this is last chance to meet before marriage .

So Plz suggest .

I understand your concern.

1) It would be better to postpone the cycle.
2)Medroxy progesterone acetate 10 mg can be taken twice daily 3 days before the expected period date. That means if you are expecting your periods on 19th XXXXXXX you should take the pills from 16th XXXXXXX it should be taken 12 hrs apart on same time everyday till the date you want to postpone periods.
3) There is less chance of conception as you are near the date of your periods. But for precaution sake you can take i pill within 72 hrs of unprotected sex.

For increasing man sex time there is any tablet If yes then which one and how ti use. Plz suggest on this also ?

Yes there is tablet for increasing the timing but it should be taken only after evaluating the person. Cardiac patients are not recommended to take this tablet. Sildenafil taken half hr before intercourse help top prolong time.

Hi mam,
I had periods on 18,19and 20th without any medicine . After that I had sex on 22and 23rd without protection . On 24th morning I took I-pill
. Now since last 4 days(28,29,30,31) I have bleeding and feel burning in vagina during washroom .
Plz suggest me on this .

It's is normal to have bleeding after i pill. It will stop in a week's time.. Burning in the vagina may be due to intercourse after some time. Don't worry. It will subside on it's own.
