Question: Hi, I'm having kidney stone initially it was 4cm l, 7 cm year back post that no scan take.
is there alternet way to drain out or should i follow the surgical procudre.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a large stone (7cms) in your kidney (You have not mentioned side ).

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) have you done ultrasound scanning of abdomen ?
2) Have you done radiological test called Intra Venous Pylography (IVP) to assess the function of both the kidneys and effect of stone on the kidney having stone ?
3) Have you done any blood test to assess the status of kidney function?

Please note that stone of a such a big size can not be treated by any modality except endoscopic surgery called Per Cutaneous Nephro Lithotomy(PCNL).

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get above mentioned tests done under his guidance It is very important for you to get operated at earliest failing which there is high risk of the said kidney getting damaged permanently.

PCNL is a time tested and result oriented endoscopic surgical procedure in the management of large kidney stones practiced all over the world.
