Suggest Ways To Rule Out Brain Tumor

Question: Hi Dr.
I am panicking. My 18 month old daughter started walking at 14 months. She us 18 months now and is still not totally stable on her feet, is wobbly and falls often. There have also been three occasions in the past 3 months where she vomited shortly after waking up and drinking something. I am terrified she has a brain tumor. She co sleeps with me and takes naps with me in my bed and I always use my cellphone when she is beside me. When she does sleep in her crib in our room, the cellphone is in the same room. Also there have been 4 instances where my husband has falled asleep with her in our bed with the cellphone either beside or beneath her. I can't stop crying, I am so worried and upset she has a brain tumor or could develop cancer from her radiation exposure.

Brief Answer:
Visit to a pediatrician for assessment
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Mild delay in motor milestones can occur.
Vomiting is not of concern if it is occasionally.
Danger signs like excessive enlargement of head, excessive crying, uncontrolled vomiting, seizures requires evaluation.
You should visit to a pediatrician for assessment and evaluation.
Still, XXXXXXX radiation has not been proved to be cause of brain tumor and your concern is baseless.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
