Suggest Ways To Treat Hypertension While On Xanax And Atenolol
Question: Dear, i am male 31yo, 183cm, 107kg. My bp during 24h holter was avg. 140/80, at night 115/60. My doctor told me not to worry too much as i am hypersensitive. When I take pill for nerves (xanax) my bp goes down to 125/75. When I am stressed at work my bp is 140/95. I dring atenolol (bp lowering pills) in low dosage. What can you suggest to lower my bp and to better control raising of bo during stress? My heart rate is avg 55 because of Atenolol pills. Thank you

After going through your history, in my opinion your BP is well controlled . You need to stick to your medicines and diet.
Continue with the medicines , maintain proper follow up with your cardiologist. Do regular exercise and try to decrease your salt intake it will help you to reduce your BP. There is need to loose weight.
Get your ECG , lipid profile and renal function testing yearly and compare it to previous.
