Clonazepam 1mg three times a day needs to be taken off slowly and very carefully. This is because stopping too fast leads to withdrawal and carries a risk of seizure and death. I would decrease by no more than 25% every two weeks. In other words, I would take 0.75mg three times a day for two weeks, then 0.5mg three times a day for two weeks, and so on until you are off of it. This needs to be done under the supervision of a doctor.
