Marijuana and other drugs of abuse can cause some serious effects on body like:

Panic and Anxiety attacks, depression, Poor coordination of movement, Increased heartbeat (and risk of heart attack), Suppression of the immune system,
Reduction of male sex hormones and sexual capacity, Personality and mood changes.

The treatment depends on type of drug abuse.

For a person abusing marijuana, the treatment is symptomatic. He is advised to stop marijuana completely and then drugs like Clonazepam or antidepressants (prescription drugs) can be given depending on withdrawal symptoms.
