Suggest Ways To Wean Off Medication Which Are Addictive

Question: I am taking someone else's medication and I want to tell my doctor so I can either get a prescription for it or just get help getting off of it, but I am afraid because I know I am breaking a federal law! But I want to stop and I need help stoping because my body is addicted to it!
