Suggest Ways To Wean Off Of Myrbetriq

Question: Is there a danger in discontinuing Myrbetric without some kind of "step down?" My husband has Alzheimer's (moderate-severe) and has been urinary incontinent for some time. His Urologist retired last month. I have a referral but am questioning if it is time to let some things go.

Myrbetriq (Merabegron) is prescribed to dontrol spasms of the bladder to reduce urgency incontinence .

It remains active in the body only for 24 hours and does not have any negative effect if one discontinues taking it abruptly .
