Taken Rabipur Injection After Dog Bite. Do I Have To Take Globulin Injection?

Question: Hi I had a dog bite in India & had to travel to Kolkata hospital for my first injection of rabipur anti virus. The dog owner showed me a certificate for the dog's rabies injection. Since then i have followed the required dosage injections @ 3, 7 & 14 days. I will have my last injection in the Uk on Feb 12th.
Should i have had a Globulin injection as well? Can i take this now after 14 days?
Is there anything else i need to do?

After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:

1. It has been 2 weeks since dog bite, and you do not have any symptoms.

2. The dog was certified yo be vaccinated for rabies.

3. In such a scenario, you need not worry.

4. However do complete your schedule of post exposure prophylaxis till 12th Feb.

5. There is no need of taking rabies immunoglobulin in your case.
