Question: hi. my name is mp XXXXXXX I am taking zolfresh 10 mg for 2 years and now experiencing its side effects. Kindly indicate how to get rid of it?

ZOLFRESH is a prescription medicine used for insomnia.
It is always used for short term like few weeks only as long term use causes drug tolerance,drug dependence and some nervous system related side effects like
Hallucinations
Short term memory loss
Altered thought patterns
Difficulty maintaing balance
Increased or decreased libido
Headaches etc.

Alcoholics have increased risk of drug abuse and drug tolerance.
Following measures should be adopted to get rid of this drug
Reduce your dose of Zolfresh very gradually like taking 5 mg for few weeks then 2.5 mg for few weeks and then taking 2.5 mg on alternate days for few weeks and then gradually withdrawing it.
Quit alcohol
Do regular and vigorous exercises daily
Start yoga and pranayama for relaxation.
Patience and will power to succeed will bring success.
