Taking Levothyroxine And Omeprazole Before Breakfast. How Long Should I Wait?

Question: t Levothyroxine 100 mcg before breakfast. I have before breakfast, along with omeprazole DR 20 mg. Is it alrght to take these two together and hoe long
should I wait before eating?

WAIT 2 hrs AFTER TAKING LEVOTHYROXINE.

Thanks for writing to us.

It is better to take Levothyroxine medicine alone in empty stomach for better absorption. No food or drugs (even omeprazole) can't be taken within 2 hrs of taking.

You should wait at least 2 hrs after taking Levothyroxine medicine to get effective result.
