Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Can you give me some more clarifications like:
1.When was your LMP(last menstrual period)?By how many days have you missed your periods?
2.When did you get chicken pox?
3.What medications are you receiving?
Waiting for your reply.
regards,
Dr Nilofer

Hello Doctor,
I got married on 17/Jan/2013.
I Got Chicken Pox on 25/Jan/2013, Started Medicines on 26/Jan/2013.
Medicines : Aciclovir 400mg 4 times a day and Dolo 650
Took Vaccination for my Husband.
My husband got small bubbles on 4th XXXXXXX 2013 and took the same tablets.
My last Period started on 8/Jan/2013 and lasted for 6 days.
My periods was irregular earlier. From last two years it was regular, but had a duration between 32 - 35days.
Actually we had plans to have a kid, so we didn't take any precautions.
Thank You for your valuable time.

Hello,
I appreciate your prompt response.
Following are my suggestions:
1. First of all i advice you to get a urine pregnancy test done to detect pregnancy.
2. Since you had chicken pox on 25th January, you have already developed immunity to chicken pox. Your baby will not be affected now.
3. Continue taking folic acid.
4. Healthy balanced diet and moderate exercise.
Wish you good luck,
regards,
Dr Nilofer

Hello Doctor,
I took the urine test yesterday. It was showing negative.
I spoke to another doctor, he was telling as My husband also had chicken pox, and me too, then if i got conceived during that period then there is a risk that the kid may have some problems.
Thats the reason we are scared now.

Hello,
Since you will have developed Ig M antibodies, fetus will not be affected.
Anyways, your pregnancy test is also negative.
So there is nothing to worry at all.
Hope your doubt is clear.
