Taking Microlite. Is It Effective Immediately, Or Have To Wait Till The Second Pack To Be Safer?
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
With most oral contraceptive medications including microlite ,it is advised that for the first seven days of using the medication another form of contraception be used for coverage.
Barrier protection with condoms is usually the preferred method. After the first 7 days , the level of medication is thought to be sufficient to provide contraceptive protection on its own.
So you do not have to wait to the second packet , just at least 7 days.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
