Test Showed Elevated GGT With Slightly Elevated SGOT And SGPT. Any Advice?
Question: My GGT:228,SGOT:75.7,SGPT:88.6. Please advise

Your GGT level is elevated with slightly elevated SGOT and SGPT. Usually such results do appear when bile ducts are obstructed due to gall stones. In some cases liver tumors can also give such symptoms. You may probably have upper abdominal pain radiating to the back and dark urine. The stool can be whitish.
It is advisable for you to have abdominal ultrasound to see bile ducts and if obstructed, ERCP procedure should be performed. You should also have checked AP, amylase and bilirubin.
