Throat Irritation With Bloody Phlegm. What Does It Indicate?

Question: Went out in cold yesterday morning for just 2 mins since than severe irritation rashness in the throat. Its not the pain but its irritating didnt slept whole night. The phelgm which comes out of the throat its little bit red i think its small blood clots. Half of its transparent phelgm and and inside therez a small blood clots but its very rare mostly i am getting plain phelgm but my throat feels injured and rashed.

Detailed Answer: Dear Madam, Thank you for posting your query on XXXXXXX Well looking into the problem I will like to tell you that it is a possibilty that you are suffering from pneumonitis . Since you are giving history of blood in transparent phlegm it raises the suspicion of having rusty sputum . You need to see a physician for this . A Complete blood count , ESR , CRP , Sputum c/s , Chest X Ray will be minimally required . You will need a course of antibiotics for this and possibilty of tuberculosis also needs to be ruled out . These are the type of cominng with the pelgm but its not every time usually its plain.
