Hi,
Actually, Forecox has four anti TB drugs in it. Yes there are side effects of these meds . Keep an eye on the following:
* Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms: Common GI symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and
abdominal pain. These symptoms can be managed with medications or changes in diet.
* Liver toxicity: Anti-TB medications can sometimes cause liver toxicity, which can lead to symptoms such as jaundice, fatigue, and abdominal pain. Regular liver function tests are usually done to monitor for liver toxicity.
* Allergic reactions: Allergic reactions to anti-TB medications can be serious and even life-threatening. Symptoms can include rash, itching, fever, and
difficulty breathing.
* Peripheral neuropathy: Some anti-TB medications can cause peripheral neuropathy, which is damage to the nerves that control sensation and movement in the arms and legs. Symptoms can include tingling, numbness, and
muscle weakness.
* Vision problems: Certain anti-TB medications can cause vision problems, including
color blindness,
blurred vision, and difficulty focusing.
* Joint pain: Anti-TB medications can cause joint pain and swelling, especially in the knees
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
