Twin Boys Are Fussy Eaters. What Dosage Of Zincovit Syrup And Mecalvit Syrup Be Given?

Question: Hi
My twin boys are 2.3 years old n fussy eaters please advice how much dose of zincovit syrup (not drops) and mecalvit syrup should i give them daily (Delhi, India).

Thanks for writing to us.

Zincovit is a multivitamin along with zinc and the recommended dose for a child 2 years of age and approximately 10 kg child is 5ml ( 1 teaspoon full) twice daily.
The dose for mecalvit in low calcium and vitamin D3 levels or any bone disease like rickets is 2-3 teaspoon twice daily. In mildly low levels, the recommended dose is 1 Teaspoon twice daily. So please get the dose of Mecalvit adjusted by your physician after the required tests have been done.
