Urine Test Done. What Does The Value Signify? What Should Be Done?
Question: My urine result- appearance-turbid,sp gravity-1018,reaction-acidic,protein present 2cells(there are 2plus signs against it),sugar - not detected,m/e-4-5cells,calcium oxatate,crystals seen/hpf
Hi,
In view of the fact that there are 2++ protein, and a few calcium oxalate crystals in your urine, it is advisable for you to have a screening ultrasound examination of your kidneys and bladder at the very least, and depending on the findings of the scan, further assessment can be made.
Serum Creatinine is a blood test which is useful to assess kidney function, and it is advisable to get that also done.
Please let us know if you have any further clarifications.
Regards.
