Weird, Popping Feeling On Rib, Sens To Move On Bending. What Is It?
Question: hi i have a weird popping feeling on left rib. my partner felt it and hes pretty sure its part of my rib. it just feels like theres something there all the time and when i bend over it kinda feels likeits moving and rubbing against bottom of my ribcage is this serious
Hello and welcome to XXXXXXX
where exactly is the popping feel? is there any pain or cough, breathlessness with movement?
Is there any lumpy feel underneath?
Do you have any other associated symptoms like nausea?
Pain, shortness of breath, cough can occur in pleural rub (lung crackle).
Things moving under the left ribcage are stomach, spleen, heart, colon parts etc.
If there are no associated symptoms, it is not serious.
I hope to help you more specifically once I get these answers.
Take care and keep me posted.

i have no pain no cough nausea or shortness of breath when i touch it.
the popping feeling is about where the lower ribs curve in.
its more annoying than anything.

Ok. It is most likely not serious.
To be sure, you can get an Xray chest and an ultrasound of the abdomen done.
