Hi!
Welcome to health care magic!
I am Dr. Saddiq Ul Abidin. I have read your problem in detail and will try to help you in best way possible.
Based on your weight and physical activity, your calorie requirement for healthy life routine would be around 1400-1600.
As a general rule, for simplification purposes, it is said to mutiply your weight in kgs with 20 if you want to lose weight, multiply 30 if you want to maintain, multiply 40 if you want to gain.
Since you are not among those who have excessive physical activity, and have tendency to weight gain, so to keep check on other metabolic syndrome and other risk factors it is better to keep in this limit. You can further discus with your nutritionist in detail regarding a proper and applicable diet plan. As normally net based plans are impractical and are not based on person to person basis and since routines and tendencies and responses of body may vary in every other individual.
Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. kindly rate me before closing, and leave your feedback if possible.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ul abidin.

Hi! The plan I suggested was based on your activity level and tendencies to gain weight.
Now 1600 calories plan for few months, and then 2000 calories will help you to keep good health and decreases chances of developing metabolic syndrome, heart disease, diabetes and other such problems.
Please don't forget to rate before closing. Regards.
When I was obese I was eating lots of calories, maybe 3000-4000 per day. I am now a normal weight. Is 2000 calories a day good for maintaing my current weight?
Thanks

Yes you can, but I will still suggest you to use 1600 calories for a month and two before switching to 2000. It will be more beneficial.
