What Are The Adverse Effects Of Accidentally Taking BP Medication Twice?

Question: I think I accidentally took my blood pressure medication twice. Within an hour of each dose. I take Bystolic 5mg. That second time was about an hour ago. Blood pressure right now is 124/70.
What should I do.

1. The medicine bystolic contains nebivolol and is a beta blocker. Taking two doses of the medicine in an hour is not a serious problem. However please avoid it from happening again.

2. Your blood pressure right now is 124/ 70 mm Hg and is normal. If the blood pressure goes below 100/ 60 mm Hg then you should take emergency care at your hospital. If it has been one hour then it is less likely that your blood pressure will get lower.

3. In conclusion, there is no need to panic if it happened once. Please monitor your blood pressure over next 3 to 6 hours and it is less likely that it will go below 100/ 60 mm Hg. Have a friend or close one near you in case you feel dizziness.
