Question: Sir, if patient is HIV positive since 2005 but because of good immunity he is not taking ART. Dose it affect the patient health in long term?

Nowadays WHO recommends all HIV positive individuals with a CD4 count 500 or below 500 should be started with ART Whereas the guidelines from USPH, CDC and European guidelines recommend treatment as early as possible or as soon as the individual is being diagnosed to have HIV, so that the immune system could be spared and the function could be retained as in an uninfected individual and to protect from accelerated process of non-AIDS related conditions over the vital organs of the body.
You had not mentioned the individual's CD4 count. It is better to start ART as early as possible.
