Brief Answer:
side effects may not occur

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Acetylcysteine: (1) contraindications-( situations it cannot be used in or medications it cannot be used with)-- there are none of these
(2)serious interactions, where an alternative is best---there are none of these
(3)significant interactions (where you need to monitor)--- activated charcoal
(4)minor interactions-----isosorbide dinitrate or mononitrate, nitroglycerin (different formats)

Side effects----(1) bronchoconstriction (tight airways)-- asthamatic patients should be monitored
(2)drowsiness
(3)fever
(4)increased production of mucus
(5)nausea, vomiting
(6)runny nose
(7)blood on coughing

Most side effects of medication do not occur in the majority of persons using the medication. It is possible that you may use it with no or minimal problems

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
