What Are The Benefits Of Ubiquinol?
Question: My doctor has me taking ubiquinol - does this have any proven benefits? I am in good health, low B/P etc.
Brief Answer:
related to co enzyme Q
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Ubiquinol is related or a form of co enzyme Q.
Co enzyme Q is changed to ubiquinol in the body and the body then uses the ubiquinol in various areas.
By using ubiquinol directly, you would be by passing the need for transformation of the co enzyme Q to ubiquinol.
Co enzyme Q (hence the ubiquinol) has been proven to be beneficial.
It it thought to be helpful in different areas. It is an anti oxidant so protects your body from damage. It also helps with some types of heart disease, possibly reduces the risk of cancer, helps with blood sugars and cholesterol, gum disease
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Ubiquitol is expensive - $42/month - is there a cheaper way to get the Co enzyme Q? Does it occur naturally in foods?
Brief Answer:
can be found in some foods
Detailed Answer:
Hi
There are some foods that may have it such as broccoli, strawberries, oranges, peanuts, sesame seeds, some fish (trout, sardines, mackerel and herring), spinaceh, chicken breast.
It is present in small amounts in these foods
If you cannot get the ubiquinol cheaply , you can also consider using co enzyme supplement, your body would change it into ubiquinol
Please feel free to ask anything else
