Posted on Fri, 16 Jan 2015
Question: recently went to a massage parlor and have oil massage. During that time received oil hand job by the lady massage while sucked her nipple for 2-3 minutes. No other sexual activity done what so ever. I did not notice any breast milk or blood but i think some some discharge at my mouth (dont know what is that). Even though i dont have any visible cuts in mouth but i have removed my wisdom teeth one and half months ago and dental hygiene is to be improved so there will be some wear and tear. Please advice any chance of hiv and hepatitis b infection......

Brief Answer:
I think you are safe and there is no risk of HIV or Hepatitis B.

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at Healthcaremagic

I have taken note of your query.

Regarding risk of Hiv through a handjob, there is absolutely no issue with that.

Sucking on to nipples is absolutely safe provided there were no visible sores or something like that on her nipples.
Presence of sores would have increased the risk because there would be some blood cells that would have entered your oral cavity, however, this is not the case because if there were sores you would have noticed it.

Even taking small amount of breast milk into the mouth is considered negligible risk for acquiring HIV during a sexual encounter.
However, breast milk can transmit HIV from mother to baby but that is because the baby feeds on to breast milk, regularly.

Some amount of breast milk/discharge from nipples is normal specially if the female was lactating sometime previously. However, there is negligible risk of Hiv from this.

Hepatitis B sexual transmission occurs through genital or anal intercourse, not through rubbing, kissing, oral sex, nipple sucking or masturbation.

Dear Doctor,

It was in the night and honestly was lil bit drunk. But if its sore with her nipples then I think she would have stopped me as it will be more paiful to her. I m not medical science but do you agree with me at this point. I checked her hand and she was clean but sucking was momentary and hence just to forget proper checking. Now I m freaking out! Advice please....

Brief Answer:
I don't think you have anything to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I agree with you. A sore of cut in that area would be painful.

I think you are worrying too much. You are safe as far as this particular sexual encounter is concerned.
