No STD and HIV, Rule out malignancy by LN biopsy
Detailed Answer:
Hello Worried,
I understand your concern.
I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious disease specialist, answering your concern.
- I assure you that your sex is very safe sex and you do not have exposure to vaginal fluid of the CSW, so there is no possibility of HIV and other STDs.
- Your HIV status is negative as suggested by various HIV testing methods at various time intervals.
- Your ds DNA test came once positive and than negative is suggestive of false positive because of some viral infection at that time.
- Your mantoux test is positive but rest of the features are not supporting the mantoux test so it may not tuberculosis.
- Strep pneumonia test is coming positive but it never causes such a chronic infection.
- In my advice you should do biopsy of the enlarged lymph node with microscopic examination to rule out any malignancy and other causative factors.
- Also go for Gram's Staining from the white tongue area, to rule out any fungal infection.
If you have anything else to ask I will be very happy to answer that. We wish you a best health at healthcare magic.
Thank you,
Dr. Arun Tank
