What Are The Chances Of HIV Infection After Protected Oral Sex?

default
Posted on Thu, 7 Jul 2016
Question: Hi. I received protected oral from a sex worker. I don't know her std status but she said she was clean. I notice I had a pimple on my scrotum area and it was red but not bleeding, the skin was definitely exposed. She was licking in that general direction. Is it possible to get hiv from her saliva? There was no blood in her mouth or anything like that?

Brief Answer:
less likely to be HIV related, but provide additional information

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
I would like to see the pictures of the lesion that you have mentioned.
I would also like to know what is the duration between this two incidents that is when you had sexual encounter and when this pimple you noted.

Oral sex is much less risky than anal or vaginal sex – but HIV still can enter through open cuts and sores. But to comment, to your question I need above mentioned information.

Hope this helps

After she licked my scrotum where the pimple was I went to the bathroom and that's when I realized my skin was exposed. Keep in mind the pimple was popped the day before. So no blood.
