What Are The Chances Of STDs Transmission Through Non Penetrative Sex?

default
Posted on Wed, 11 Mar 2015
Question: Against better judgment, I had sex with an escort. This may seem weird, but I used a condom and had my boxerrs and my jeans on. I was also very careful not to penetrate past the end of the condom. If there was any skin to skin contact it was fairly brief. I didn't see any visible sores but I'm still concerned that I might put myself at risk. What's your thoughts, anything to worry about?

Brief Answer:
Intact condom, no touch, no worries!

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

sexually transmitted diseases require contact. No contact means no disease. An intact condom and no contact with the suspicious area be it the genitals or the mouth or anything else makes transmission of disease (if she's diseased) very very unlikely. I've used "unlikely" instead of "impossible" because during sexual intercourse it's not very common to remember all the details of the contact, so sometimes something important might have been forgotten.
Anyway, your description and the degree of your sensitivity to the subject, probably make transmission impossible.

Having sex with individuals that have an increased risk for sexually transmitted diseases is obviously a risk for yourself. Suppose the condom broke for example.

I hope I've helped!

Thanks for the response. I was very careful on what I was doing so I am pretty sure there was no contact. If there was any contact it was very biref, being that it was brief would that still be a concern. The condom was intact when we finshed.

Thanks again!

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

as I've already told you, being so cautious makes it almost impossible to contract any disease. If you've had no contact particularly with the mucosal surface of the genitals or other parts of the body then you can be sure that everything will be OK!

Please note that transmission does not happen always even after unprotected sexual intercourse. Particularly some sexually transmitted diseases are difficult to contract (like the HIV - AIDS virus) and require protracted irresponsible behavior (of course transmission may happen during the very first contact but the odds are not high).

Kind Regards!
