Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
The risk of transmission of HCV through the razors used by an infected person can not be ignored or ruled out.
It is better to have tested for HCV. HCV antibody detection test would be more reliable after 12 weeks as the widow period lasts for 8-12 weeks after the risk activity.

Brief Answer:
HCV antigen test will rule out the infection during the window period
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Medicine is not mathematics to have a constant answer. So we can not predict the exact risk. HIV, HCV and HBV are mainly spreading through exchange of blood and other body fluids. So direct injury, needle prick, blood transfusion and sex contact are having more risk than other type of contacts and through inanimate objects. If your room mate had not been used the same for few days (4-5 days), then there is no risk for HCV to you by using that razor as the HCV can not be viable longer.
You can have the antigen detecting tests (CORE ANTIGEN DETECTION, NAT). These tests become reliable during the pre-sero-conversion period (window period), 30 days ahead of regular Antibody tests.
