What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Through Protected Sex?
Question: Hi i had protected sex on 6th feb. Condoms were intact. Got my last periods on 2nd feb. My average cycle is 30 days. Even my last period was delayed by 4 days probably because of exam stress. I sort of had an UTI during mid feb which i treated at home. Its 6th March i still havent got my periods. I took a HPT on 4th March which was negative. What are the chances of pregnancy. Also as answered by your health expert last there are NIL chances. So what do i do now? Why havent i got my periods. What is the possibility. Also i had nausea in last 2 days and on and off pain in pelvic area.

Can i take a pregnancy test today itself with evening urine or tomoro morning urine? The concern is that my folks might come along for further investigation. And i really dont want anyone to find out in case there is any pregnancy risk. Another doctor sounded quite sure that my pregnancy risk is Nil. HpT on 2nd day of my missed period came out negative.

So in case i get a negative test on 9th. It wil be 100 percent confirmed that i am not pregnant? Also another doctor on this forum adviced me to take progesterone tablets if i dont get my periods in 3-5 days? What do you have to say about that?
Also i have on and on pelvic pain. Whats the relevance of that?

Brief Answer:
Almost no chance of pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
Yes,there is almost no chance of pregnancy if your pregnancy test is negative 7 days after your missed period date.
As you are already having period problem and pain in abdomen.
You should consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined and get your ultrasound test done to rule out PCOD and other causes of delayed period.
You can take progesterone pills for withdrawal bleeding but before taking it consult a Gynecologist for the same.
