What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy With 3 Negative Test Results?

Question: Hi, I'm 26 and I'm 13 days late for my period. My period has never been regular and normally it will be late for around 4 - 5 days after the expected date. Nevertheless, I had never experienced 13 days before. I took 3 pregnancy test respectively on the 4th, 5th and 12th day of my late period. Went to obgy yesterday and instead of using normal pregnancy test, he used pap smear and said that I'm fine and not pregnant. He had also prescribed me with Dubaston.

My question is whether am I still possible for pregnancy?

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Please tell me what was the result of your pregnancy test at home ?

If it is positive you have chances to be pregnant .
If the test is negative chances are almost zero,because your periods are irregular.

Pap test is not the examination to detect if you are pregnant or not.

The best is to do Blood hcg blood test ,to confirm/exclude pregnancy.

But doctor has given duphaston because and if you are pregnant it will protect the pregnancy,but if you aren't pregnant duphaston will breakthrough your periods.

All 3 of my pregnancy test shows negative. Do I still need to get a blood test to confirm?

If both of three pregnancy test at home are negative you have no chances to be pregnant.

You don't need to do blood test to confirm because pregnancy tests are negative and your periods are irregular.

There are many reasons that can cause delay periods .

Take duphaston as prescribed from your Gynec.
