What Are The Common Laboratory Tests Advisable Before Planning For Pregnancy?

we are a married couple and we are planning for a baby, but before that we would like to know which medical tests are necessary to catch any possible diseases like Thalessmia etc. can you please let me know which medical test we should go for.
Also, I am 33 years & my wife is 26, we want to go for a annual health check-up, please send me a list of necessary test for both male & female as well any tests for screening of cancer.

Haemoglobin,blood group, genetic testing, TORCH test,blood sugar, thyroid profile, Hepatitis and HIV status,immunization status for MMR,weight,ultrasound pelvic.
For male - semen analysis, blood grouping,genetic counselling.
Other testing depends upon family history.
She should start taking folic acid tablets daily,take healthy and nutritious diet,maintain healthy weight.
